Description: Congaree National Park is home to astonishing biodiversity with the largest intact expanse of old growth bottomland hardwood forest remaining in the southeastern United States. The 26,276-acre United States national park received its official designation in 2003.

Fees: Entrance to Congaree National Park is free. Camping fees start at $5 per night. Backcountry Camping is free.
